Gate House

From a portfolio of pictures I was asked to produce a gate house for a Japanese style courtyard. The placement was set but the design needed to be confirmed.

After the final alterations of the design, the wood was ordered and the footings were dug. Any screws and fixings are hidden in the design to keep the organic feel and continue the Zen from the courtyard.

The cedar gate house not only welcomes you into a stunningly groomed Japanese courtyard but has a rich smell of cedar that adds to the charm.
